A NEW INTEGRATED GREY MCDM MODEL: CASE OF WAREHOUSE LOCATION SELECTION

Warehouses link suppliers and customers throughout the entire supply chain. The location of warehouse has a significant impact on logistics process. Even though all other activities are successful, if product dispatched from fails to meet customer needs in time, company may face with risk losing customers. This affects performance whole chain therefore choice is an important decision problem. problem multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) since it involves many criteria alternatives selection study proposes integrated grey MCDM model including preference index (GPSI) proximity indexed value (GPIV) determine most appropriate for supermarket. aims make three contributions literature. PSI PIV methods combined theory will be introduced first time In addition, GPSI GPIV used select best location. this study, performances five were assessed twelve criteria. Location 4 found as alternative GPIV. results compared methods, was that method reliable. It been determined sensitivity analysis change weights causes ranking locations sensitive weights.
